Below are some very important details regarding our group booking details. Please make sure to read through this page carefully before booking your reservation. 

DISCOUNTED ROOM BLOCK

• Shivani and Dharmesh have secured discounted group rates for guests of their wedding! Guest reservations MUST be made on this site through Shaadi Destinations to attend wedding events; reservations made directly with the resort, via online travel agencies such as Expedia or Hotels.com, or via a travel agency will not receive any group perks, discounted group pricing, and promotions nor will guests be allowed to enter wedding events.

• Planet Hollywood Beach Resort has a 3 night minimum stay, but may extend their time in paradise as discounted room rates are valid from Wednesday, May 7, 2025-Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

• Please make your reservations by December 15, 2024 so we can plan for your attendance of events.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is optional but recommended. Shaadi Destinations currently offers a Cancel Anytime insurance product that will be made available for purchase within 14 days of the date you are charged for your room. The Cancel Anytime plan allows for 100% refunds of the non-refundable amount for cancellations due to covered reasons or 80% refunds of the non-refundable amount for cancellations due to most other reasons (for example - no longer wanting to travel). The link and instructions to purchase this plan will be provided by email along with your invoice during the charge window. Terms and conditions are subject to change by the insurance company until the plan is purchased.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

• Payment for your requested booking will be charged between 12/15/2024-1/15/2025

• Cancellations on or after 1/24/2025 will be charged a 1 night penalty per person

• Cancellations on or after 2/17/2025 will be charged a 2 night penalty per person

• Cancellations on or after 3/19/2025 will be fully non-refundable

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the visa and/or passport requirements for Mexico?

• Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico.

• Indian Citizens will need to obtain a tourist visa unless they have a valid US Visa or are permanent residents of Canada, UK, or Japan. Please verify requirements before travel, you can find specific requirements here.

• If in doubt, please get in touch with your local Mexican embassy.

Is there transportation available between Cancún International Airport and the resort?

• Shivani and Dharmesh are kindly providing roundtrip shared airport transfers. Please submit your flight information no later than 1 month prior to arrival into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

What time is check-in and check-out at Planet Hollywood Beach Resort?

• Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best.

• Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.

Are kids welcome?

• We chose Planet Hollywood Beach Resort because of the endless list of activities that will turn us all to children - so children are encouraged!

  The Kids Club is loaded with all the amenities of an all-inclusive luxury resort, with fun, kid-oriented activities scheduled throughout the week, making for a vacation experience parents appreciate and children will never forget! Let them play and have fun in a secure environment while you enjoy too.
