Deepika and Rakesh have secured discounted group rates for guests of their wedding! Please book by January 1, 2025 so we can prepare for your attendance of events; in order to secure the best discounted rate, to attend wedding events, to be included in group promotions, and to be given priority access to rooming requests and be placed in the group block located near the bride and groom's group. Booking outside of the group block (including on the hotel’s website directly) is not allowed as access to wedding events are only provided by the hotel to wedding block guests.
Generations and El Dorado have a 3 night minimum stay required, but many extend their time in paradise as discounted rates are valid Friday, April 25, 2025-Friday, May 2, 2025.

El Dorado Casitas Royale is the luxury beach front villa resort community that sits in the premium location between El Dorado Royale and Generations Riviera Maya. With butler service for each villa, you will be pampered from the moment you arrive! Each villa is luxuriously appointed and designed to ‘wow’ you right from the start. Enjoy restaurants that only those at the Casitas may dine at and premium liquor at bars around this section of the resort. All Casita rooms are only available with a king bed.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is optional but recommended. Shaadi Destinations currently offers a Cancel Anytime insurance product that will be made available for purchase within 14 days of the date you are charged for your room. The Cancel Anytime plan allows for 100% refunds of the non-refundable amount for cancellations due to covered reasons or 80% refunds of the non-refundable amount for cancellations due to most other reasons (for example - no longer wanting to travel). The link and instructions to purchase this plan will be provided by email along with your invoice during the charge window. Terms and conditions are subject to change by the insurance company until the plan is purchased.

Payment for your requested booking will be charged between 1/1/2025-1/15/2025
Cancellations on or after 1/15/2025 will be charged a 1 night penalty per person
Cancellations on or after 2/10/2025 will be charged a 2 night penalty per person
Cancellations on or after 3/10/2025 will be fully non-refundable

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the visa and/or passport requirements for Mexico?
Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires after 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico.
Indian Citizens will need to obtain a tourist visa unless they have a valid US Visa or are permanent residents of Canada, UK, or Japan. Please verify requirements before travel, you can find specific requirements here.

Is there transportation available between Cancún International Airport and the resort?
Deepika and Rakesh are kindly providing roundtrip shared airport transfers. Please submit your flight information no later than 1 month prior to arrival into Cancun International Airport (CUN).
What time is check-in and check-out at Generations and El Dorado?
Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best.
Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.
Can I stay for just 2 nights?
While most destination wedding guests choose to stay 5-7 nights when flying to Mexico, we understand there may be certain limiting factors. Unfortunately, group discounts are only valid on a minimum of 3 night stays. If you absolutely must stay 2 nights, please contact us at support@shaadidestinations.com so we can find the best rates possible for you. Booking through Shaadi Destinations allows for certain group benefits to be conveyed and allows for the best rate possible.
Are kids welcome?
We chose Generations Riviera Maya because of the endless list of activities that will turn us all to children - so children are encouraged! Generations provides non-stop entertainment for the kids with themed characters, the Eko Kids Club (Sunday, Monday: 9 am - 5 pm & 7:30 pm - 11 pm, Tuesday - Saturday: 9 am - 5pm & 7:30 pm - 9 pm), Little Eko Chefs program (3 pm on weekdays), and much more!
Karisma also includes baby amenities such as strollers, cribs, bottle sterilizers, bottle warmers, changers, baby monitors, pack n' plays, sterilizers, baby baths, baby robes, baby slippers, and high chairs.
Children will be given special access to the El Dorado side only for attendance of events in those sections.
Adults staying at Generations Riviera Maya are more than welcome to join the festivities throughout the day or dine at any of the restaurants at El Dorado Royale!
