  • Alisha and Kirtan have secured discounted group rates for guests of their wedding! This is the most discounted group rate possible! Rooms MUST be booked through their group block link on this website in order to secure the discounted rate, and receive wedding group promotions.

  • While there is a 3 night minimum, most guests choose to add nights at the discounted rate before and after the wedding in order to enjoy the incredible resort with friends and family. Please feel free to take advantage of this rate from Tuesday, November 25, 2025-Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

  • Please make your reservation by May 15, 2025 so we can plan for your attendance.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is optional but recommended. Shaadi Destinations currently offers a Cancel Anytime insurance product that will be made available for purchase within 14 days of the date you are charged for your room. The Cancel Anytime plan allows for 100% refunds of the non-refundable amount for cancellations due to covered reasons or 80% refunds of the non-refundable amount for cancellations due to most other reasons (for example - no longer wanting to travel). The link and instructions to purchase this plan will be provided by email along with your invoice during the charge window. Terms and conditions are subject to change by the insurance company until the plan is purchased.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Payment for new bookings will be charged between 5/15/2025-6/15/2025

  • Cancellations on or after 6/13/2025 will be charged a 30% penalty per room

  • Cancellations on or after 8/15/2025 will be charged a 50% penalty per room

  • Cancellations on or after 9/26/2025 will be fully non-refundable

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the visa and/or passport requirements for Mexico?

  • Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires after 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US, Canada, UK, and Australian Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Puerto Vallarta airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico.

  • If in doubt, please get in touch with your local Mexican embassy.

Is there transportation available between the airport and the resort?

  • Alisha and Kirtan are kindly providing roundtrip shared airport transfers. Please submit your flight information no later than 1 month prior to arrival into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

What time is check-in and check-out at Hyatt Ziva Cancun?

  • Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best.

  • Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.

Can I stay for just 2 nights?

  • While most destination wedding guests choose to stay 5-6 nights when flying to Mexico, we understand there may be certain limiting factors. Unfortunately, group discounts are only valid on a minimum of 3 night stays. If you must stay 2 nights, please contact us at support@shaadidestinations.com so we can find the best rates possible for you. Booking through Shaadi Destinations allows for certain group benefits to be conveyed and allows for the best rate possible.

Are kids welcome?

  • We chose Hyatt Ziva Cancun because of the endless list of activities that will turn us all to children - so children are encouraged! Hyatt provides non-stop entertainment for kids with a free Kids Club and mini water park!

  • Kids club activities include beach time, pool time, arts and crafts, jungle gym, mini cars, bikes, dancing, board games and much more.
